The Department of Public Works maintains Borough owned streets. Maintenance responsibilities include:

  • Asphalt Patching
  • Line Striping  
  • Right-of-Way Maintenance
  • Sign Maintenance
  • Snow Removal
  • Street Sweeping
  • Winter Storm Emergencies

 

Stormwater Management

Here is a link to the PA DEP Stormwater Management website.  Please use this for helpful information on stormwater runoff.  Please refer to the When It Rains It Drains brochure for further information.

If a resident observes a polluted or questionable discharge from a stormwater outfall in the Borough or observes illegal deposition of materials into a storm drain inlet in the Borough, they should contact the Borough Manager by calling the Borough Office (724 266-4070).
