Street Sweeping Calendar

2025 Street Sweeping Calendar

Sweeping will take place Monday through Friday, every other week. Please be sure to check the signs on your block to see which day the sweeping will occur on your street.

We sweep RAIN or SHINE!

PLEASE NOTE: Merchant Street is swept DAILY on street sweeping weeks!

Ticketing

All Parking and Street Sweeping tickets are to be paid at the Police Department between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm – Monday - Friday. You can still drop them off in our administration drop-off box after hours, however, no receipt will be issued. We strongly suggest NOT MAILING CASH to pay any tickets, as your ticket may turn into a citation if we do not receive your payment due to postal errors.

The cost of the fine is $25.00 if paid within 15 days. After 15 days, the fine increases to $30.00 and will be sent to the Magistrate for collection after 30 days from when the ticket is written. This will add approx. $85.00 in court costs.

No second notice will be sent.

*We do NOT take credit/debit cards when paying your tickets – checks, money orders, or cash only.

*From time to time – we will sweep un-scheduled streets as part of our town clean up. NO TICKETS will be issued for these un-scheduled streets.
